Our stringer Jim AI4WL reports in from the hinterland concerning the November 20th raid on JARSFST22 Hamfest.
At least seven PARS members made the two-hour trek from our County to Benson for JARSFEST while Dennis Had, W4USR, made his way over from Cary; Ron Turner, NA2VY, was up from nearby Dunn; Wayne Beasley, KO4OJC, from greater Harlow. Off the back of his truck, Air Boss Antenna Launcher founder Bill Olah was able to divest himself of the last of his stock. The others after perusing the tables, added to their collection of possibly needed good stuff and odds and ends. The Pamlico crew included Bruce Perkins, K4ONC; Mike Marsh, K4NLC; Bill Olah, KR4LO; Bill Cresswell, K2ONN; Jim Hartmeyer, AI4WL; and Brian Shepard, K4LTE.
Neither rain nor snow nor Sunday morning cold, our band of intrepid travelers are on the go.
