SPECIAL EVENT STATION 76TH ANNIVERSARY USCG AUXILIARY
On Saturday 17 October 2015, auxiliarists all across the United States will
operate amateur radio stations with special call signs in honor of the USCG
Auxiliary’s 76th Anniversary. Any amateur contacting one of these special
events stations will be given a commemorative QSL card.

The ORIENTAL FLOTILLA has been assigned the special events call sign K4C.
The coordinator is Wayne Mulligan, K1CBI, wayne.mulligan@yahoo.com,
Hours of operation are 1600Z-2300Z, on 7.270.

Please encourage any hams you know who are not auxiliarists to make contact
with one of the special events stations.

BIG WEEKEND COMING UP–MORE TO DO
Pamlico County Heritage Day and the Scouting Jamboree on the Air are both
coming up this weekend. Heritage Day was rescheduled due to the storm. JOTA
is the big weekend for Scouts and Amateur Radio, this year close by out at
Camp Seagull.  If you have the time to help with either or both, give a call
